The Best Spots to Take Your Dog in Las Vegas

Hope Watson

So many people, including myself, want to be able to bring their dog along with them on fun outings and adventures! Today I’m going to give you all a list of a few dog-friendly places that you and your furry friend can visit together for a good time!

Let me know if you try any of these spots out or if you know of any others that I can take my buddy to and tell more people about. Let's get into it!

1. Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar

Ever want to go out for lunch or dinner but you don’t want to leave your dog at home? With Lazy Dog, that’s not a problem!

This is a dog-friendly restaurant that even serves some special doggy dishes so the whole family can be included in eating out.

2. Barx Parx

Taking your dog to a park so they can socialize with other dogs can be great, but sometimes you don’t know if all the other dogs are safe for your pet to play with.

With Barx Parx, they take that concern out of consideration! All dogs must go through a vetting process of sorts before being able to go and spend time with the other dogs in daycare and other activities.

It’s a great option if you want to be 100% that your dog will be safe, even if you aren’t there! Note that they are a 21+ establishment, however.

3. Cornerstone Park

This park is truly a great place to bring your dog for a nice walk with plenty of things to see and to sniff.

It’s 31 acres and is located off of Wigwam in Henderson. There are trail opportunities as well if you even want to bike with your dog!

4. Red Rock Canyon

If you have the time to take a beautiful, scenic drive to Red Rock, I would recommend that you bring your dog with you!

It’s a great option for active dogs that can go hiking for miles and still not get tired (like mine!)

I hope that this gave you some inspiration for some great places to take your dog to in Las Vegas.

There are far more parks and places than I could possibly include, but it’s always fun to try a new place to see what works best for you and your pet! Happy adventuring!
